We are currently searching for an Accountant to join our External Accounting Team.
Your immediate responsibilities will be to:
Actively participate in projects focused on the following service offerings:
- Collect information for the daily bookkeeping.
- Record and maintain proper accounting records in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards and file all relevant documents supporting the transactions of a Company.
- Prepare daily reconciliations of banks, debtors and creditors.
- Process invoices, receipts and payments.
- Assist in payroll processing.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation related to the annual audit, Income Tax and VAT returns.
- Assist in the preparation of accounting and financial reports of the company.
- Ensure that the clients’ accounting records are maintained completely and timely while using the appropriate functionalities of the systems.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in accounting.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related.
- Certified public accountant (CECCAR) would be a plus.
- High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities appropriately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in Romanian and English.
